Well, head on over to flickr!
I guess I’m a lot of things: a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a crafter, a cook, a reader, a writer, a homemaker, a pianist, and probably a lot more too. But at the end of the day, I’m just a Christian trying to find and obey God’s will.

Yup, my name is Danica. Like the race car driver, whose name I know, but whose career I know nothing about. A Nascar fan I am not. Things like reading, playing piano, gardening, cooking, sewing, writing, and keeping my bathroom bleached are more up my alley. Read more »My maiden name is Sinclair (not Patrick), and I come from good stock. (So says my husband, anyway!) I’m the oldest of 9 kids–and my parents are neither insane, uninformed, or Catholic. They’re actually the best parents you could ask for. Seriously. (And, consequently, I think pretty highly of my siblings, too, whose blogs you can access from the links below.) I’ve joined a new clan, though, and my husband and I have been “leaving-and-cleaving” for 2 years and counting. We have a son who you’ll read much (too much?) about. Oh. And there are pictures of him, too–hundreds of them–should you care to click on over to my flickr account. I’m a stay at home mom who is redefining that title–I literally stay at home as much as I possibly can. I love to be home! Home, by the way, is in Northern California, although my roots are in a lil’ ol’ town in Northern New York. Lastly, I take all blame for any ridiculous, outlandish, illogical posts. Anything worth commenting on or linking to is due to my husband’s encouragement. In the spirit of the Little engine That Could, “He thinks I can, He thinks I can, He thinks I can,…”, and sometimes, that’s all a wife needs.
i just want to tell you that i think he is the most darling little boy. and it’s a bit of a bummer that i only really get to know him through pictures, but i’m so thankful for at least the pictures. how did people do this when they didn’t have internet?!

I have worn my Moby Wrap almost every day for the last two weeks. I love it. I’m always warm on my own and having my almost-11 pound baby wrapped to me doesn’t make me any warmer. I’ve worn in on long walks and not over-heated, neither has the baby. Mine was made by Liz Daby, not purchased through mobywrap.com. I have a friend who has a store-bought Moby and her fabric is much heavier than mine. She was already thinking it was too heacy to wear even in spring temps. My Moby is quite thin, almost gauzy and very stretchy. If you’re ever in Canton and want to check it out, stop by. I know Liz got the material at Walmart and it was not expensive. If I remember, I’ll bring it to the next CFA.

You look like a mom, I wish I did. I look to young to be a mom. Oh well.

I think if he’s cuter than the photos then you all are in serious trouble. I did a whirlwind tour of your flickr account and he is definitely a doll! The only ones I couldn’t take were the drool pics- no offense. I have serious drool issues. Well, you know what I mean!
Anyway- he’s cute.
And BIG!
