Random nature forgiven (what mom isn't random?). Thank you for the honesty and the loveliness of attitude. As I was reading yesterday I was feeling very grumpy about my tasks - not very silver and gold-ish at all.

Thank you for the reminder that washing dishes, laundry, and a sweet baby face are ways of loving my Lord.

As far as purging...I hear you. I think I'm perpetually in the mood to purge, and that's deepened by our lack of closet space. I heard one time to never keep anything that is not useful or beautiful. I'm not there yet, but it's my goal. At times it's difficult to determine what amount of usefulness warrants keeping certain objects, but regardless, if I am willing to part with an object now, it certainly won't hold any greater purpose in a bigger house.

Yes we did blocks, books, and anything learning. We went a bit crazy but we figured with how awesome these gifts would be to learning, we decided they all were a must. The home made blocks are precious! We had to buy ours, too bad. Your dad is amazing!

Gosh I know that feeling ... it started the week before Christmas. Ice storm knocks out power and shuts down the capital region of NY. Then Christmas Day at the inlaws, Friday was my 15yr. high school reunion, Saturday my parents came to town, Sunday back to the inlaws because more family around, and then Tuesday to the inlaws, and then we were snowed in on New Years, and then to the inlaws 2 more times before family left.

The kids are SO wiped out, but for some reason, Jonathan and Matthew think that he has to be up a 7AM ... even if he was up to 12:30AM ... we can put them to bed super late or super early ... and it's still 7AM that he comes in and wakes me up. Luckily I was home during that time and Angela didn't have to do it all alone.

Now I need a real vacation from my vacation ... but it's all good :)
