i’m still here.

It’s been a quiet week here. Somehow the days slipped by, one after the other, and I didn’t do much more than get through to the end of each one. I’ve been exhausted and not quite myself. Someday I won’t be so overwhelmed, so always close to tears, and so unbelievably tired. This is what I remind myself of.

In the meantime, I’m enjoying an evening on the couch. The Red Sox are tied with Tampa Bay. My slippers are comfy. Jameson is on his way home from an evening with friends. (Thanks, friends.) I spent approximately four hours just sitting with Ryan and an afghan. A baby kicked now and then and made me laugh at my lumpy tummy. Made me wonder… who’s in there? Made me marvel… in days we’ll know.

Will they need this…

…or this?

oh Danica, I am praying for you these days! What a world of difference when that baby is born! I so immediately felt sooooo much better! Don’t fret the house. Mumsy will be there soon. And btw, my FIRST baby was the
hardest to transition to! Love to you..Diane

    Danica,
Best wishes with this “little one” who will soon be here!! I’m guessing a girl…..for no real reason! :o) Enjoy the time with your mom and her visit and savor every day! God bless you all and prayers for a smooth home delivery!! Anxious to hear the news!! P.S. Do you know that, in your “Flikr” sets of pictures, you have one set titled “Thanksgiving 2008?” I don’t think we’ve had a Thanksgiving yet this year, have we? ;o)

I so vividly remember you bringing us a meal after Lael was born. She was laying on a blanket and you walked into the living room, looked at her and said, “I can’t believe there is a whole other person in your family now!”

Soon there will be a whole other person in your family! How exciting. Have a great time with your mom and enjoy all the pampering. You deserve it. ;-)

At Lisa C. Ha-ha!! I thought the SAME thing but didn’t say anything in my original comment! Danica has used the “plural” form in other entries!! Is she keeping something from us or just leaving hints!!? ;o) Just teasing, Danica! I guess we’ll soon find out!! P.S. I don’t think she looks “big” enough for twins!!

@Lisa: I’m pretty sure the exact bag you’re referring to is sold. BUT, if you just click on any of the pictures over there under “selling”, it’ll take you to my flickr set to see what’s available. Then shoot me a note and let me know if you’d like something.

(Hmm… is this too complicated? I’ll have to talk to my technical director. ;))

“THEY” is my attempt to skirt the fact that I am still not sure about gender. Just one baby in there!
