I do have a few recipes that I’ve modified for Alyssa’s diet, which automatically makes them healthier. And the chewy granola bars are hands-down the easiest, cheapest, yummiest snack food ever. If you don’t have that recipe I can send it to you. I will go through my notebook and send you an email tomorrow.
Actually rather than me sending you a long confusing email, I’m just going to recommend my favorite recipe site. http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com She has a whole section that is healthier foods, a lot with beans and grains and a ton of ideas for saving grocery money. Some of it is a bit of a stretch for me (like the powdered milk. icky.) But its a cool website to check out and its where I get a lot of my cheap recipes. The tortilla recipe is fantastic and super easy. All her lentil recipes are great. The oven fried chicken is Josh’s absolute favorite now (and I use Smart Balance Light instead of butter so its low fat).
Yeah I could go on and on. I love this site. Hopefully you do too. :-)
Wow. He so has your feet, D!
