This isn’t it.

This is just to say that my baby’s asleep, and I should be, too. But instead, I’m awake and looking at this, and this, and this.

And I would be desperately sad that already my brand new baby has vanished, except that his newly-discovered giggle is the most wonderful sound I’ve ever heard. Well, it’s a toss-up, I guess, between the giggle and his very first cry.

I love my baby.
